For tourists
The Netín church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary of the Assumption and has a long tradition of pilgrimage. This tradition began in 1714, when parishioners from Velký Meziříčí came to Netín to beg Our Lady for an end to the plague epidemic. Since then, hundreds of pilgrims have been travelling to Netín every year for the main pilgrimage, which is celebrated on the 15th of August.
Count František Podstatzký Lichtenštejn had a great relationship with the Netín church, thanks to whom the reconstruction of the organ was carried out and a festive concert was held on 12 September 2015, where the main guest was Jaroslav Tůma, who also participated in a number of Advent concerts organized under the auspices of the foundation of Count F. P. Lichtenštejn
Near the church you can find the Podstatzky-Lichtenstein family tomb with the Chapel of the Virgin Mary of the Seven Sorrows above it. A cross path leads to the tomb.
